Who We Are
Founded in 2024, AdAstra Bio was created to champion the next wave of bioscience growth in Kansas and the Midwest. We are the official Kansas state BIO affiliate and a proud member of the Council of State Bioscience Associations (CSBA), replacing BioKansas as the central hub for bioscience business solutions, collaboration, and advocacy.
Our vision is simple yet powerful: Bioscience for all. Discovery for life. We believe that everyone, students, skilled tradespeople, researchers, and entrepreneurs, should have access to the opportunities and resources that bioscience offers.
What We Do
- Advocacy: We work with lawmakers and agencies at every level to promote policies that accelerate bioscience innovation, manufacturing, and workforce development.
- Convening: We bring together industry leaders, educators, and policymakers through targeted events, symposia, and executive forums.
- Talent: Our ON RAMP initiative connects students and workers with bioscience employers, championing non-degree pathways and inclusive workforce strategies.
